What is BlockDebit™ and how does it work?
BlockDebit™ is our revolutionary crypto direct debit system that allows you to set up automated recurring payments using cryptocurrency. Unlike traditional crypto transactions that require manual approval each time, BlockDebit™ lets you authorize merchants or services to automatically deduct payments from your wallet at scheduled intervals—just like traditional direct debits, but with full blockchain transparency and your complete control. You set the limits, frequency, and can revoke access anytime.
Do I really maintain full custody of my crypto?
Absolutely. SpendLayer is a non-custodial wallet, which means you—and only you—control your private keys and assets. We never have access to your funds. Even when you set up recurring payments through BlockDebit™, you're simply granting pre-authorized spending limits to specific merchants within parameters you define. You can modify or revoke these authorizations at any time, and your assets remain under your complete control.
